Week 3: Gaining Momentum - Hitting My Stride in Week 3

As I reflect on Week 3 of this 12-week journey, I’m feeling a sense of progress and stability. It’s been a journey of both physical and emotional growth, and I’m beginning to feel more in sync with the process.

Physically, I’m noticing positive changes—my energy is picking up, and I’m starting to see signs of the new me unfolding. Mentally, I’m finding peace in the routine, and that sense of stability is so reassuring. The initial hurdles are behind me, and I’m finally finding my rhythm.

Here are some of the ways I’ve been able to stay on track at least 90% of the time this week:

  • Meal Prep is Always a Winner: Prepping my meals in advance has been like a comforting embrace. It keeps me nourished and ensures that I’m making choices that support my health, even on the busiest days. I also measure to ensure I am getting the right amount of nutrients for my body.

  • Review the Workout the Night Before: Taking a few moments to review the next day’s workout plan has given me the mental space to prepare, reducing any anxiety and helping me approach each day with confidence.

  • Meal Plan as Wallpaper on My Phone: It might seem small, but having my meal plan right there on my phone’s wallpaper is a gentle reminder of the care I’m giving myself. Every time I see it, I’m reminded of the love and commitment I’m putting into this journey.

  • Giving Myself Grace: Most importantly, I’m learning to be gentle with myself. Some days are more challenging than others, and that’s okay. What matters is that I’m here, doing the best I can each day, and staying committed to this journey.

Week 3 update: Trending in the right direction.

This week’s update brings some uplifting news—things are definitely trending in the right direction! I’m noticing more progress around my back and waistline, and I’m delighted to share that the scale has gifted me with a 1 pound loss. It’s a small but meaningful reward for all the effort I’ve been putting in, and it feels so encouraging.

Overall, I’m still feeling really good, and the body scan is confirming that progress is happening! This is what progress looks like—a steady, nurturing journey toward better health and well-being. Each step forward is a testament to the care and commitment we give ourselves.

As I move into Week 4, I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with a heart full of hope and determination.  Remember, no matter how heavy the weight—whether it’s on our bodies, minds, or hearts—we can lift it together.

I’ll be back next week with more updates and reflections. Take care and remember to give yourself the same grace and care that you offer to others.
