The Journey Begins (Again and Again!)
This week marks five years of the start-of my health journey.
I began lifting weights with an amazing trainer back in 2018 and took off 63 pounds then life got real good! The Body positivity, confidence and amazing heathy glow factor simply oozed from my soul.
Over the years I’ve maintained working out at a minimum of four days a week but most recently due to life and back pain ( no excuses) I’ve gained back 25 of those 63 pounds despite my best efforts.
This post isnt about the weight gain it’s about tenacity, discipline and stick-to-itveness for going after what we want. I will get those pounds off but in the meantime, I am identifying what serves me well today that’s different than what served me five years ago.
I’ve been told my journey had inspired many, but I’ve also been inspired by others and for that I will keep pushing! Let’s go!
